Welcome to Navajo County, AZ where countless opportunities live.Navajo boasts rich Native American history and Indian reservation land makes up about 66 percent of the county land area. For a great price I am offering this sprawling 2.5 acre lot deal just for you!
These lots are located near the town of Holbrook where the scenery is mostly consists of sagebush and cactus and the land out here is mainly flat. The town is nearby enough so even though you are off-grid, you are relatively close to civilization where you can stock up on food and supplies as needed.
Navajo County offers many attractions such as the Petrified Forest National Park where you can enjoy backcountry hikes into areas never open before such as Red Basin and little known areas like the Martha’s Butte. Navajo County is also home to more than 400 species of animals including antelope, elk, deer, fish, bighorn sheep, mountain lions, black bears, and gray wolves.
This property is perfect for someone who wants to get off-grid and disconnect from the busy city life. There’s no better climate than Northern Arizona— a perfect temperature for snowbirds during the winter and a fantastic playground during the summer for locals due to being 20 or 30 degrees cooler than Phoenix over the summer.
Some notes from our photographers on this property….
Abner Rd is an access road and it is a rough muddy and dirt road, Sun Valley Rd is a rough dirt and muddy road as well and has access to the northwest corner and Abner Rd only because of the wash that drops 20 to 30 feet off into the western edge of the parcel. The land slopes gradually 30 to 40 feet down from the northwest corner to the southeast corner, there is a 65 feet by 111.52 feet wash along the southwestern corner of the parcel that is a 20 to 30 feet straight down drop off that flows toward and through the center of the southern property line The ground is mainly dirt and sparse grassy areas with small shrubs and cacti. We placed GPS flags at all corners at ground level as there were no existing survey markers or pins.
Mountain views are at a great distance to the west and southeast. We found no utilities nearby.
